3 months post Lap VMR

I'm happy to say that after a rocky recovery time with lots of pain and anguish I am getting better. Had Laparospic Ventral Mesh op for Rectocele,Entrecele and telescoping bowel in May.

I was in dispare for the first 8 weeks because of the pain in my vagina and problems with my bladder. My GP thought I had post op neuropathy and prescribed amatriptyline to divert the signals from the nerves. This has made such a difference and I am now able to walk and generally get my life back. I still get tired but after resting for a while I'm able to carry on. Will have to take the amatriptyline for a few more months.
