Hi Doreen - I think all your pain will dissipate. Mine took five months and still today, 11 months later, I feel a reminder type of pain every now and then. You will feel better though. As far as arthritis in the fingers. I have it in most of first knuckle joints and had one surgery on my pinkie finger, left hand. The surgery did very little in most regards and now a fusion was recommended which I'm very reluctant to partake in. You might want to check in with a pain clinic and also try some PT on your hands. I think you will continue to improve.

Good Luck and I wish you the best. So sorry for what you're enduring.

HI glenn - so sorry to hear of your problems - i have a visit this month to talk about op for left hand but will be leaving that for a while - the fingers curling in are my biggest problem at the moment so will see what they say -i am also awaiting a PT appointment after seeing my GP but will be about 13 weeks wait  so following exercises on the websites and using the squeeze ball - thank you for your response -

Hi Doreen.  It sounds quite normal.  Do remember that it can take up to a year for full recovery....and yes, mornings can be the worst for stiffness and pain.  Just sent you a pm. smile
