Hi, almost 6 and a half months after the operation I still get the numbness on top of my foot but not as frequently. I have been told that may last for a year....

    HI,

I am 15 weeks post op. I have numbness on the side and bottom of my foot. It comes and goes at random. I have no clue how long it will last, but I wanted to let you know you are not alone. I prefer the numbness to the pain, so I try not to complain about it much. 😉 I hope you feel better soon. If the numbness stops let us know. Cause I am just as curious as you.

I have been told that it will last for at least a year...together with swelling coming and going. My ankle seems to swell up every evening.
