so ive been having chronic yeast infections. i got prescribed fluknazole and im on my 3rd pill that I took this morning and i still have a lot of discharge?? its bewn 5 days since i took my first pill. Im concerned its not working... and if it isnt i feel like im in trouble.

if the Yeast infection medicine doesn't work then it's not yeast. its probably cytolitic vaginosis. I had it. it's the opposite of a yeast infection. it means you have no yeast. so taking medication to kill yeast makes your symptoms SO much worse. the only way to cure it is to douche with baking soda twice a week for 2 weeks or longer. get tested for cytolitic vaginosis. they should see a lot of lactobacillus in your vagina if it's that. it's rare so doctors always say yeast. they told me it was yeast even though I had no yeast on the test ( complete idiot) so I was skeptical but took the medicine anyways and it made it worse. I bought monistat creams after that and it was the worse idea ever. went back to a different doctor and she knew what it was right away. it caused peeling too
