3 weeks ago my Doctor gave me a prescription for pyrethrin which I used 3 times, until it was used up.

Yesterday, I noticed new red spots on my body. I am devastated. I am going to try the salt bath. Thanks for your advice. I am also going to see the Doctor asp. I believe, however, that this second problem may be from the 2 cats I have which are the only things I didn't wash. I am considering the salt bath for both of them very seriously at this moment. Clearing this up in cats, I have discovered, is a very expensive proposition and can take weeks of daily treatment. Cats and dogs, I understand, can pass this on to humans; so I guess I will now concentrate on their little bodies and beds to clear this problem up for good. I will report back on this if the salt helps cure the darling cats. (and me)

I have scabies and have resided myself to just laughing it off...i joke that i'm diseased, infested and contagious cos if i didn't i would end up bawling my eyes out!

A lifelong sufferer of Eczema, I am no stranger of scratching so to one day start itching in a previously unscratched area - i just knew sumthing wasn't right...so i decided 2 give it 24 hours..maybe it was a nu patch of eczma - best not stress i thought - the next day wen i woke up my entire abdomen/stomach area was just a blanket of red blothes and scratches...i must have rolled a glass over my chest for about an hour, trying to catch the rash by surprise lol after 3 days enough was enough this was defiantely not Eczema i thought

So me and my mum went the doctors and wen i was called...i knew she was gonna say Scabies....but then i thought that's ridiculous, i'm a clean person, religiously some say, untidy yes, but dirty no.....so there i was wit my doctor explaining my symptons, excessivly dry, flaky skin, non stop itching, sweat that literally burns (which if u think about it is kinda like a skin salt bath loll)

My doc looked at my skin which was now like a red rash all in one costume by now - inner thighs, groin, stomach, chest, breats, arm pits, tops of arms, webbing of fingers, elbows, hairline, ears and neck)

and said 'that's a severe skin allergy reaction' so for 2 weeks i took antihistamines; the rash and itching got worse by then i had babsat my nephew about 3 times, laid on my bed with my dog, hung out with my friends, shared bed with them....so to be told on an visit to A&E that it definately isn't meningitis but was instead scabies...I was furious....I knew it had to be scabies i hate it when i'm right n doctors are wrong - i feel so guilty that i may have infected people like family and friends

I have a load of questions but no one to answer them

like can u still apply make up?

what is the best way to get rid of dry skin?

can my dog catch it from me? he's been having a little scratch every now and then but it wasn't until 15 second ago that i realised that's basically what i've been doing...so many he's had them the same amount of time as me..maybe i caught them through him?

will i need to get a nu mattress?

how do u clean your shoes? i read sumone were about freezing them is that right?

what should i do to clean the house?
