    hi scott,

i wouldn't worry too much about the initial weight loss for the moment, like you say, you're slim anyway so don't stress yourself, just monitor it, if you put on more than your comfortable with obviously you'll have to start cutting back.  i was the opposite, i lost weight on mine :-) i've lost over a stone and a half. that was all in the first few months. getting your mental health is more important than your weight, you'll soon shift it if you need to, good luck and keep eating if it makes you feel happy :-)

Hi Scott  I've been on sert for 6months and lost nearly 1st and havnt put it back on initially lost my appetite  but everything fine now   could it be that your are feeling more relaxed and happier  and your are actually enjoying your food   Dont worry about the weight gain  you can as you say always do something about that later  The important thing is you get your mood and emotional feelings on track  good luck and relish the fact  that you are in a happier place

Hi Scott, I put on more weight when I was on sertraline which is normal due to medication, but you can control your diet it's not easy. Exericse regularly if you can which is good for you.

In response to your reply I need to know when You developed tinnitus about 4 years ago due to a side effect of the medication you are taking. During in last 4 years I wonder if you have you tried other antidressent med apart from sertraline which you are taking recently? You have been waiting for 4 years for tinnitus go away but it never go away. Have you seen ear specialist to find out what caused tinnitus?

    Best Regards
