3 weeks In and 7.5lb lost

Am 3 weeks in taking orlistat 120mg but have lost no weight this week. Have been to the gym 3 times this week like the other weeks so could it be that I've gained muscle?? Any advice.

This happened to me on 2 occassions over the last 5 weeks so I ate a fatty meal of fish and chips. Went to the loo loads the next day (which did not normally happen as was getting constipated) and droped several lbs. I think maybe because us larger ladies are used to eating a lot, when we cut right down our bodies are like "what the hell" and go into starvation mode and hang onto our fat reserves. Hard to believe and some people are probably reading my comments and thinking "nutter" but honestly, I have ground to a halt twice and been constipated and so on the first occassion ate a fatty meal to see what would happen - and it shifted lbs and on the 2nd occassion tried it again, and it shifted lbs. You could try this and see what would happen. And trust me, I am in a hurry to lose weight as I have important wedding in August and going skiiing next February, and at the moment can't fit into anything and no way could I ski - wouldn't be able to do the boots up let alone get into the clothes!

Have been a tad constipated, but have got laxatives to take as have a few issues anyway. Saw gp today and he is happy with my weight loss so far at 2.5kg so have got the next 4 weeks tablets. Will keep that in mind if still no joy next week.

Yeah, I know what you are talking about with regards to toilet moments. That might well be a better way about it than having a fatty meal. Good luck and let me know how it goes. And well done for the weight loss.
