3 year old stomach pains

Hi all

my little one 3 year old has been complaining of stomach ache now for past 1 week. He seems ok during morning, then at 1-2 he gets proper down and has stomach ache and just lies down, sits in one place, doesnt eat nothing!

His poo is normal, he sometimes says wants to throw up and does so in toilet but as he doesnt eat not much comes out.

GP have given gaviscon but we confused why it happens only in afternoon. In mornings its like nothing has happened, plays well and what not and then suddenly 360 change.

Any ideas?

    Has he developed an intolerance to something you give him for lunch? Try changing his diet gradually leaving out one thing at a time. eg leave out milk and cheese and yogurts...all dairy food for a start. If no difference after 2 weeks then try cutting out something else,eg eggs but reintroduce dairy food. etc etc. Whatever is causing him to be poorly may just pass, and you will never know whats upset him, but keep an eye on his diet. Dont give him any sweets.
