3-year-old toddler with elevated iron levels.

Good day everyone. I was hoping to find anyone who has experienced their toddler having elevated iron levels. My daughter had a routine blood work and iron came back high at 154. Her pediatrician noted 1 year ago her iron level was 127 slightly high so he wasn't too concerned at the time except he told me skip vitamins containing any iron. Well this time around it's higher so he is wanting us to go see a specialist at a Children's hospital and get tested for juvinile Haemochromatosis. I am so worried and anxious. The only thing my toddler sometimes complains about is tummy pain in the evenings which is not frequent. Also, I noticed she complained about her leg hurting 1 time while playing. I do give her a multivitamin with NO iron, a probiotic and elderberry syrup a few times a week to boost her immune system during flu season. I have googled myself to death and hear the juvinile form is more rapid. We are heading to the hospital tomorrow but wanted to get some input from this group as this was the only forum I found on this condition. I've read through many posts but didn't come across any that had a childhood onset of symptoms. Of course we need to do testing to confirm this condition but there is nothing I can think of that could be causing high iron levels. She's 3-years-old , 42 inches and 32lbs.

I hate to tell you but juvenile hemochromatosis is not good.  However, she will soon be diagnosed and then treatment will begin and all should be good for her.  Treating it early has the most successful outcome.
