I had Right Shoulder arthroscopic surgery and tendon repair three years ago. I still get numbness with tingling in my right hand and shoulder pain. Lots of popping and clicking. Sometimes my shoulder still sounds like a rumble strip when I'm doing activities. I have had several cortisone injections, have been suggested for more PT. Pain is starting to bother the left side of my neck. I just want to know if anyone else has had this "blue plate special" as (they called it) surgery and what complications you experienced afterwards. I still play softball and help with lifting furniture in my mom's antique shop. When I play ball I feel like my arm has given up after a few innings (slow pitch pitcher here) and I have to will and pray it to continue. HELP PLEASE

Wow, I don't have advice, but are you at the point where you were before the surgery? I hope someone here has some answers for you.

The right hand numbness and tingling is the most annoying and seems to come out of nowhere. I had that prior to surgery. I have good ROM but like I said sounds like a rumble strip. I feel like I'm back to square one again. I have nephews that want their aunt to pick them up and play with them. It's just a drag that their 33 yr old aunt can't go for very long. I mean they're two and one. I dunno I'm disapponted. I wasn't expecting to be back 110 but 70-80 would of been nice.

Sorry to hear you that! Yes, this is my 6 months postop with partial cuff repair and now I am diagnosed with FS. Just had Crotisone last month as Dr advice. I am still struggling to raise my hand around 90 degree. Can't do anything. Dr says it will go away but I don't know if it will as there's no any symptom it is getting better. Post operative complication is so frustrating!!! All the best !

3 years? Wow. I dont know how you've gone that long. Tomorrow will be one yr since my last surgery (I've had 3 total within a year). My last one was for a capsule release for frozen shoulder that developed after my labrum revision repair and bicep tenodesis. Still to this day I get popping and clicking. I also get sharp pains that shoot through my shoulder and a lot of tightness in the bicep. I also have neck issues and I'm pretty sure I have impinement in the elbow but my surgeon has the god complex and thinks everything is fine. I would definitely get an xray and MRI of the neck maybe even have a nerve test done. It's possible there is impinement somewhere. I, like you, just want to live without pain even if I can't move it 100 percent. Good luck to you.
