36 years old, Perimenopause? armpit pain, aches

hi there! I am new here and just wondered if anybody has had similar experiences? i am almost 36 and take the combined pill.

I have been pretty anxious for some time now due to ongoing shooting pains in my breasts- definitely has to be non cyclical, because it is there most days, although isnt always as bad as other times, but i have had several checks now at a breast clinic plus an ultrasound on the breasts and underarms and showed all is well. so that's great. and i also recently had a comprehensive list of bloods taken and again all is good.

more recently i have now got some armpit discomfort, mostly in the right armpit. there are no rashes, swellings or lumps (which is great) and the doctor is not concerned. but it does ache and is sometimes sore, and also the arm and shoulder aches! i have had random joint and wrist aches for a while that are on and off. i am just wondering if this can be any thing to do with the start of Perimenopause? i ask because the doctor said there is a chance this is the case but i just wondered if anyone else here has had similar symptoms or knows anyone who has? thanks in advance (and apologies for lack of capital letters- my phone won't automatically put them in!)

Hi, the armpit pain started earlier for me. The pain was too much and I was feeling that my left armpit was swollen. Now, it`s better but the pain has moved inside my left breast. I can't tell exactly from where but the pain comes from deep. I guess this is one of the symptoms of menopause. I also have severe chronic shoulder pain which started from the first period. I get confused between heartburn, and shoulder pain, and armpit pain, and breast pain and, hard breathing.

I too have that feeling and not just around the breasts but the general chest area, the pain is like shooting/stabbing, comes and goes plus I have constant pain on shoulders and arms, head, nape, back or ears, entire back. I also get racing heart and palpitations. I get these a lot when my anxiety is especially high or I'm having panic attacks which I've become very prone to since turning 38 and perimenopausal. In fact I am feeling it right now. This happens to me every Nov-Dec and by Apr I'll start to feel better. By June, I'll be completely fine. Then come Nov, everything starts again. This has been going on like clockwork for 3 yrs now. I'm 41 now.

I've just recently started having all these symptoms, started having allergies , my throat seems to stay irritated, but blood work and swabs are normal they say allergies or post nasal drip , then my left arm pit started hurting couldn't find anything wrong , then I get this weird feeling in my chest that I've never had that comes and goes usually when it hits my head will hurt , and my throat will hurt but not hurt to swallow which makes no sense to me , just feel unwell then it clears up , have allergies I've never had before , I've quit having periods but it's weird I'll spot or have blow show think I'm starting then to go back and nothing , confuses me , hurt in my back , my ribs , and I have a shooting stabbing pain in my left lower leg sometimes that makes my leg go out from under me , lord read on google freaked me out because by it I'm dying , had a line on my big toe google said it was bad saw the Dr she said oh that's nothing, sort of made me a little bit of a hypochondriac because I feel like I'm falling apart but they tell me nothings wrong with me but at times I feel horrible with pains that come and go .
