Hello All

new to the forum . Ive been suffering from LUTS for the past couple of years. Im 38 years old which is "young" for some of my symptoms which include weak stream, some frequency issues and over the past year or so waking up to pee which has been a nightmare no pun intended. I spoke about it with my Pcp who said its likely prostatitis and i visited a couple of urologist who performed a prostate exam with all normal findings and suggested laying off the coffee and beer. Well i can say my symptoms havent improved much and its been fristrating and a bit scary as i can be a worry wart and fear the idea of Prostate Cancer at such a young age Anyhow, i figured id post in the forum to see if there were any young sufferers out there like me that might be able to share some wisdom on their experience. Thanks so much

Not sure that i can share any wisdom, but mine started at around your age. 41 years old now, and not much further on. Took the nhs about 18 months just to come up with a half convincing diagnosis of BPH. Still not convinced they have found everything. Takes a lot of of pressure to get the tests and referrals at this age you simply arn't a priority.
