I doubt many have heard of it. Its pretty new and I doubt many have had a custom knee yet.
The other new technique which is probably more prevalent is computer aided surgery. I doubt either is coming soon to the NHS here in the UK.

Actually, my oldest son works for a computer company and her said he will print me out a 3D copy of my knee from the dvd of the MRI! It's not a medical thing but should look pretty cool!
