3rd 4th 5th metatarsals fracture..healing time?

I fractured 3 metatarsals 2 weeks ago after a slip, was initially told 2 then when consultant reviewed xray he said 3, to be honest I'm sure it's 4 fractures because the pain at the base of my second toe is very bad. Just been given a slipper type velcro shoe and crutches. Still very painful and swollen. I'm T2 diabetic on medication

can anyone tell me with several fractures will the healing time be longer? I know diabetes can delay healing. I'm so fed up already, can't go to work as I'm on my feet all day

how long did it take yours to heal enough to fully weight bare?

    so sorry this has happened some little slip can be a issue when diabetic. in many cases it takes longer to heal just the nature of the beast. toes are troublesome can actually have little support for walking . i hope you stay with the good foods away from carbs, sugar etc. not sure of your age or how long ur a diabetic. my DH has has similar issues its frustrating and miserable , but thankfully only for a short time.
