My psychiatrist increased my dose from 50mg to 75mg at night and it made my anxiety so much more worse so I had to decrease it back down to 50mg again and I'm not going any higher than that. I hope you have better luck than I do with this. I seem to be only able to tolerate the 50mg I started out at 25mg at night and then went up to 50mg and that's where I'm staying but I was taking 75mg for about a month or so and since I decreased it back to 50mg I'm having night sweats but I 🤔 it's just my body getting used to the different dose again and my psychiatrist knows that I'm very sensitive to ssris. Good luck to you hun 💯 ❤️

My psychiatrist increased my zoloft from 50mg at night to 75mg at night and it made my anxiety so much worse so I decreased it back down to 50mg at night and I'm not increasing it ever again I'm staying at 50mg at night. My psychiatrist knows that I am very sensitive to ssris. Best of luck to you.

Hi there, my anxiety only increased when my psychiatrist increased my zoloft from 50mg to 75mg at night so now I'm back down to 50mg at night and I'm still struggling with my anxiety but I take 0.5mg of clonazepam four times a day and topiramate 100mg at night and temazepam 60mg at night for severe insomnia and I still don't sleep more than three to four hours of sleep each night so I'm going to talk to her about this when I see her next Tuesday morning. I've been taking clonazepam since I was 14 years old and everyone in my family has severe insomnia so it's hereditary in my family but I take two different sleeping pills each night and they're not working anymore for me so my meds need to be changed. Iike the toprimate because it's a mood stabilizer and I've lost over 40 pounds in the past six months and it's helped to lower my blood pressure so I don't have to take my blood pressure pills every day now and I'm not crying 😢 all the time but I want it increased from 100-125mg at night but I started out with zoloft 25mg and then in creased it to 50mg(two 25mg tablets) around 730pm and then I usually take my first temazepam around 830pm and the my last clonazepam at around 1030pm and then I read my book 📙 for a few hours and I fall asleep until 430am and then I'm wide awake for the rest of the day. So after I told her that I was still feeling really depressed she increased my zoloft from 50mg at night to 75mg at night and it made my anxiety so bad and I told her that so now I'm just taking the 50mg at night again but I'm still having a hard time with my anxiety because my body is adjusting to not taking 75mg and I was only on that dose for a month and now she knows how sensitive I am to ssris and I'm not playing around with the zoloft anymore. If you are having trouble with your anxiety ask your doctor or psychiatrist for some medication to help you get through it until the zoloft gets into your system or maybe the dose is too high for you. It's always best to talk to your doctor about this. I hope this helps you out. Benadryl can help you with your anxiety until you can get into see your doctor but only a little bit of it

Hi there what exactly is propranolol used for? 🤔 Is it for insomnia or anxiety 🤔 if you could please let me know when you get a chance I'd greatly appreciate it hun 💯 ❤️ xoxo. Hang in there and see if you can get an earlier appointment then the 30th even though the 30th isn't that far away but if you are really struggling with the zoloft and your anxiety it's worth a shot. Do you have a regular psychiatrist that you see or just a family doctor 😷? 🤔 I've been waiting to see my psychiatrist for a while because my appointment in August got canceled because she decided to go on vacation at the last minute so I see her on Tuesday morning but I'd like to learn more about propranolol from someone who is actually taking it.

Thanks so much for your help and time

propranalol is used to help the physical symptoms of anxiety like shakes etc i dont remember having any side effects last time but havent taken it yet this time i only see a family doctor

That's what I was thinking. I actually meant profolol for severe insomnia

You should really consider getting a referral from your family doctor 😷 to see a psychiatrist because they are better trained in dealing with mental health issues than a family doctor 😷 is.

He was gettting it by intravenous at a very high doseage. Alot of people take this medication in a small dose (pill form) for severe insomnia as severe insomnia is enough to drive people to literally go insane
