4 days post banding

I have 3 painful prolapsed piles which were finally banded 4 days ago. 1 of them is causing me a fair amount of discomfort, it's looking very angry, red & swollen. They're leaking (which I've never had before!) & bleeding a tiny amount. Whilst checking on them, I've noticed that there's a bit of a smell (sorry TMI) . I've been keeping extra clean particularly after BM's. I called 111 just to check that the smell didn't mean infection, but was told it was normal (although I do think I'll get a nurse or Dr to check this week that it is all ok down there)

It's looking worse than before & is really really getting me down. I was given hardly any after care advice & wasn't asked to rebook for a follow up.

Just looking for a bit of reassurance if anyone else has suffered after banding & how long it took for the piles to shrivel up/fall off!
