Hi,glad your op went ok and you are home.Regarding the dead leg,did you have a spinal anaesthesia?.Did the nurses give you a pain killing injection into that leg?....these are 2 causes that your leg may still be numb....x

If you are really worried about it ring the ward you were in they should give you some information. They may get in touch with your surgeon. Hope you get sorted.x

Hello. I had my op on Friday. TAH with cyst removal and ovaries & tubes taken too. But had exactly same problem with dead leg. Mine disappeared though after about 48 hours. Longer than the other leg but they weren't that concerned. Said it sometimes takes s few days or weeks. A midwife friend also told me it's quite common so try not to worry. I came home last night and finding it really difficult to pace myself. Want to do more than my body likes right now!

Glad all went ok, must be a relief to have it out of the way. Sorry to hear your leg is still numb - hope it gets better soon.  Don't forget, take it easy and let the others do the work for you. Best wishes Elaine x

Glad your op went well. Hopefully the leg will be better soon. Now time to rest, rest amd more rest. Even if you feel like doing more, don't.....you only get one chance for a really good recovery...it's so easy to think oh I can manage this or that..really, just rest...best advice I was given. K. X
