4 month check up

Posted , 8 users are following.

I am 4 months post op with my RTHR and 10 months on my right. I just had my 4 month check up. The surgeon just looked asked me how things were going. The pain is gone but I'm still working on getting my strength and flexibility back. He said come back in 9 months and we'll get some new x-rays.

I still need a grabber to put on my left sock but can just about do it unaided with my right. I still need someone to cut my toenails though.

Chris, happy to hear that you are doing well.  Try doing some gentle stretches each day to help improve your flexibility.  In just a short period of time you should see improvement.

I'll cut them for ya! It can be so irritating when they grow so long. Especially if they are beginning to grow into another toe. Go for a pedicure any good salon will gladly help you out.

congrats on your healing so well your doing great. It does take 9 months to a year to get all the kinks out, its goes by really fast.mremember the restrictions never cross those legs! I hate that one. Ahh well,I'm a female u probably could care less. lol

    Hopexxx

Your lucky to be pain free at 4 months . I am 4 months still in pain as my muscles all knotted and hard and having private osteopath at £ 40 session plus leg length discrepancy under a podiatrist !!

no worries about needing the grabber or any other aid to help you out ...you are still healing and it is normal top experience stiff joints and soreness ...

    don't force thinks, okay -

as suggested, ask to for a pedicure - it will make you feel good ...
