Hi all,
i just had a follow up with my ortho for my surgery i had after break my ankle, he said everything looks as if it was healing well. when i looked at the pics of the xrays after getting home i noticed what looks to be still broken and seperated bone. i have attached the pics. anyone familiar with this, please help.

I think i have a similar situation. I had an ORIF surgery in my left ankle and i went to my check up appointment 6 weeks post surgery. The doctor told me that everything looks fine and i can start walk and put weight on my foot gradually while using crutches. Then i checked my Xray photos from the day after the surgery and the new Xray 6 weeks post surgery and they all look the same to me. I am attaching both photos. I did try to walk the first day for few minutes and there was no pain then i stopped. I actually booked an appointment with another doctor tomorrow just to check and make sure if my broken bone is healing and i can start walk. I will keep you posted. I wish you a speed recovery.
Feb 27th 2021 Update:
I just came back from my appointment with another doctor. He took new Xray for my ankle and he told me the same thing that i can start put weight gradually and start walking with crutches.
