Is this normal, got OCD and intrusive thoughts caused by zopiclone withdrawal. Briefly on cit last year swapped to sertraline briefly which gave me the OCD was awful then stopped all meds for about a month. Very sensitive to meds so wary upping dose can't take more than 20mg because of my age anyway. CBT was useless tried everything to ease it. Just feel flat all the time is it normal after 7 weeks to not see any real improvement. Corona stuff hasnt helped every week struggle to try get on line food delivery. Sometimes think is this my life now will the meds ever kick in? Mornings seem the worst.

Agree with Charlie_T. You have to reset the clock everytime you change dosage. So your 3 months would be from the start of taking 10mg.

I can only speak as an observer because I'm only the carer of someone taking Citalopram. But for my dad, who I'm caring for, it took 6 weeks for us to see improvements after upping to 40mg. From sitting silent all day he started talking and laughing after 6 weeks. It's now week 9 on 40mg and we are still seeing more improvements. However, due to his age (73) and what appears to be cognitive impairment, we are considering lowering his dosage soon. Not looking forward to seeing him go through adjusting to new dosage again.

Give it a few more weeks if you can.

I'll see how it goes if Ileave it 3 months will been on higher dose couple of months. Can't take more than 20 mg because of my age. Doesnt help having real trouble getting on line food as under the age classed as vunerable adult so have keep sending husband out. Will give it bit longer but expected see bit improvement after 7 weeks.
