Hi Amy, I have anxiety issues and often get these type of symtoms. When I was a teenager I had a really bad bout of anxiety and depression and had the symptoms you describe for months, mainly I think because it was left untreated. If the investigations don't show anything abnormal then in my non-professional opinion it sounds like a bad case of anxiety. And of course the more you worry about it the longer the symptoms will last...vicious circle!

No problem. My health anxiety started at around 11 or 12 and used to be really bad but it's dwindled over the years due to the fact (I think) of me worrying about life-threatening illnessess I might have...and still being here at 41 and nothing like that having happened! (of course in saying that I'm now going to worry I've jinxed it ). I still have anxiety issues though, so I think it's just something we all have to learn to live with. I know if you are worrying about something it's very hard to stop! All I can suggest is that listen to what the professional's are telling you (that nothing is physically wrong) and try to distract yourself with a hobby or even work. I know my anxiety and even still some health anxiety at times, goes up greatly if I hide away at home and don't socialise or keep busy (which happens alot!)That's when my mind is free to roam and come up with lots of things for me to worry about! I've recently taken up crafting which I find very therapeutic. Maybe there is something you enjoy that would help keep your mind off your worries? I really can't help you much more than that as I've not exactly got a grip on my anxiety either! Best wishes and hope these symptoms fade for you soon (I know they are awful). XX
