4 weeks today post cystocele and rectocele repair. Went back to swimming laps my usual 3kms at the local pool. Felt amazing given the events over the past month. Finally starting 2 feel a bit normal again 😁

I am surprised that you are that active now. I haven't had mine yet but from what I read I thought you could re-injury or cause your surgery to fail if you do too much too quick????

I ran my specialist and he was happy for me to go back to the pool. I'm also walking about 4kms a few times a week. Takes me about 50mins so I'm not rushing. My discharge info from the hospital said walking 30-60mins 4 x week. I'm still not lifting anything so I'm not grocery shopping or dragging around a vacuum cleaner.

I was told we can 're prolapse if we even walk to far.x
