4 wisdom teeth removed 8 days ago. Pain in jaw and still bothering to eat.

I stopped taking the pain medication 2 days ago. I am having throbs of pain in my head occasionally, but mostly under and next to the bottom left of my face, where 1 of the wisdom teeth was impacting my molar. The pain is not horrid, but it is aggravating, mainly bothering my sleep. And there is a flap of skin that touches my upper teeth above the area when I bite down, but does not hinder the bite. The skin seems a little swelled compared to the other side of my jaw, where there is no pain where a non-impacting wisdom tooth was. I suspect I may have gotten a dry socket, since I do not think the pain is bad enough to be an infection and the leftover hole looks generally well. A piece of food was stuck in it for a few hours and it hurt pretty bad until I looked at it and removed, and the pain went down, and now I’m stuck with this. Observations, anyone?

You should consult with your dentist..... or change your dentist because if he is not taking care of you and your issues.

The dental problem should be taken with full care and cure
