hi everyone

i hope all is well

its my 48th day (almost 7 weeks) on zoloft

started out with 25 mg for 2 weeks

jumped to 50 mg for 2 weeks then 75 mg to 100 mgs.

after jumping to 100 mgs i felt terrible (anxiety and physical symptoms for 2 weeks)

suddenly felt better for two weeks after that and i could function i was happy that it started to work but now for the past couple of days the anxiety is sorta back and i hate it, its not bad enough to take a xanax but its there.

my question is, is this normal and should i wait it out till it settles ? is this the meds just trying to settle ?

thank you

Hi Aj, is this your first time on Serttraline as you seem to have increased the dosages fairly quickly. i would stick with 100mg for a while and let it settle. i jumped through dosages too soon and ended up on 200mg for 15 odd years. Sertraline worked really well for me but the same as you, i was desperate to get better. My advice would be to ride it out for a few weeks and if the anxiety is bearable but doesnt subside, go and see your Gp. BEST OF LUCK

it pooped out recently and the dreaded anxiety and insomnia returned. I can empathise with you as they have added 15mg Mirtzapine and i started to feel better and then anxiety came back but not as bad. i am trying to ride out before increasing to 30mg too soon to give it a chance to work
