Well week 4 and sleep is shocking still, ive literally had zero sleep again this week just discomfort more a ache no pain after 5-10 mins i seem to need to move to a different leg position and this continues all night.I also have a very sensative scar nothing can lean against or touch it,nothing wrong with the scar just touch sensative at the moment. Knee ROM is excellent and leg just about straight now,Physio is going well, knee obviously still swollen but decreasing daily, really pleased with the first month apart from sleep issue and no matter how positive i am it wears you down and you dont look forward to nightime coming round. So the battle continues. 😃

ZERO SLEEP!
My recommendation. GABAPENTIN 300mg before bedtime. Ativan is another option. For me "Gaba" was the best medication. Side effect a little drowsiness. Strong coffee no sugar takes care of that! I am three months post op. after a Two-stage a TKA revision. A long procedure. Two operations. Six weeks, two periods with IV (Vancomycin) drip bedridden. All due to the damn primary TKA infection in 2014. Now, no need for Gabapentin, anymore. Only my weekly PT and daily swimming pool walk including back stroke; two hours. In case of occasional too much standing & walking in the shopping mall (Next time wheel-chair at the reception/ concierge) I have my Gabapentin bedside. 150 mg half a capsule also works. Extra pillows in the bed also recommended. Bangkok-Johnny
