Hi I am 5 days post op hysterectomy, front and back prolapse repair
Staying off my feet and resting but wondering if anyone else at this stage feeling a sensation a little like an itch?
Could be stitches? I also feel empty down there, Picturing an empty room!

I am 6 days post op enterocele & rectocele repair. Yesterday, I started to feel a little stinging around the entrance to my vagina.
I have seen the Consultant today and she said the stitches where the stinging is coming from are dissolving & when urinating they will sting. She advised me to use Sudocrem if I need to.
She said the internal stitches would start to dissolve over the next few days & that I might see blue bits coming away. I thought the internal ones would last much longer!

Yes hun I feel empty after my tvh anterior repair.its a strange feeling I can't describe lol. I'm going to see my consultant at 12 wks just for piece of mind.all was excellent at my Post op check up though. It mentally draining to see the least. Hugsxx
