5 days post prolapse surgery anterior and posterior and sling

I am 5 days post surgical repair of bladder prolapse, rectocele and sling. I stayed in the hospital one night and then the catheter and packing was removed. I walked to the bathroom a couple of times after surgery and up and down the hall the following day . I didnt take strong pain meds just the ibuprofen they prescribed . I was doing pretty well and tried to walk often . Other than some constipation and residual general anesthesia issues i was surprised . However today i started with strange discomfort in my left leg . like electricity.....odd.... It would be fine then i would feel it on the inner thigh about 8 inches up from the knee. Next time it would move to the outer thigh. could it be a nerve issue from surgery? Anyone have anything similar

Hi, I'm 5 weeks post op today from cystocele repair, I'm still numb on my left side of lady parts, & down cheek in center of leg. The first 2 weeks any movement caused a blowtorch like pain thru the same area, grateful that has stopped. The position we're put in for these procedures, have got to be compressing nerves, & of course everyones experience is different. I was terrified something horrible went wrong, thanks only to others on this blog, giving me reassurrance that this was common by sharing their experiences....this is where my DR. dropped the ball. If you get comfort in knowing your experience isn't abnormal, & it calms your fears, then it's confirming the importance of this blog & thanks to everyone sharing.

I do have this pain pretty regularly, especially when I'm close to needing to have a bowel movement and during. From my research mine is from the sacrospinous ligament attachment. I had very severe pain for several weeks after my surgery, and continue to have some heaviness and whatnot, even after PT, so pretty sure it was only a partial success for me.
