Botox in my head what was I thinking it's been a nightmear anxiety sweating weight lose the list give in my life has been a living nightmear and now 5 months on joint pains feeling terrible the week of my period . Why did I do it

I had my second round of botox 4 weeks ago (the first lot didn't work). I now have a really painful jaw. I suffer from chronic joint pain anyway but it has really flared up and over the last 2 weeks felt generally really unwell. the fatigue itself can be overwhelming. I don't know when you had youri njections but I was told that the first couple of weeks you can feel terrible and the first lot don't always work. Hang in there. 1st match I had Botox in my head next day headache these got worse and the anxiety started 6 days later the more my head froze the worse I got I've just turned 40 which I'm still unable to celebrate I have a hair studio , 2 children and husband and would normally do spin and pump classes at the gym 5 times a week and I've been put on my arse so many meds weeks of work my mother been looking after my children it been sh*t

I don't know where you live but I have access to a migraine nurse who actually did my botox. I was also told not to take any other meds whilst on botox because doctors need to know if the botox is working or not, also migraine meds can also believe it or not, cause headaches!
I think you need to speak to someone, especially as the anxiety can't be helping the situation, (something I am lucky not to have suffered.) If you live in the uk go to the migraine action website where you can access a migraine nurse on the phone. Hope this is of some help. I suggest you speak with who ever administered your botox too.

Thanks Claire , I've got a meet with the clinic that injected me in a couple of weeks . I'm also paying to go to spire in 2 weeks to see a neurologist

Hy. I didnt get botox but it was something like it and i've had the same stuff but not as bad joint pain. I would recommend talking to a Dr. thats really all i can think of. Sorry for not having more info on this subject
