5 week post-op for ORIF ankle surgery

on Jan 1, I slipped and fell and my rolled ankle. I initially dislocated my foot at first, but the mistake I made next was getting up on the ankle which immediately broke it from both sides. The doctor at the er fixed the dislocation. The surgeon operated a ORIF surgery on my right ankle, which now I have two plates (one on each side), 14 screws (7 on each side). Its been five weeks since my surgery, I've already changed my cast twice and I'm still in one (haven't gotten the boot yet), they took out the staples and one pin (which was painful), the surgeon also mentioned he would not remove the plates and screws until there is immediate danger to my health or leg.

Now last night, I took a fall in my washroom—maybe i got up too quick, i don't know (i don't remember). But I think to stop myself from falling, I accidentally placed my right ankle on the floor but i still fell. There was no pressure around the ankle itself, where the plates are it doesn't hurt, i can wiggle my toes just right, there isn't any swelling in my toes (not that i notice), but there is a area near the ankle bone, where it hurts. It's toward space going to the back of your ankle (sorry i don't know how to explain it). When I move my leg its painful, but its tolerable.

Should I be worried?

I have a similar situation. I went into dr and explained the pain and he took xray. Sure enough I had separated the bone by 1/2 a millimeter. Which i not good..... So I have to be super careful/ no weight/movement for 2 more weeks in my boot. Then another 4 weeks with slowly progressing weight up to 1/2 body weight at 6 wks from now.

I am currently 6 weeks post op from a bimalliaor (Sp?) surgery I broke my tibia and fibula also.
