5 weeks at 200mg

Hi there,

?I am after a little reassurance I have been on 100mg for 5.5 weeks now.  Last week I felt like I was finally seeing some relief from this blasted anxiety and depression.  However, the last two days have been awful!!  Feeling really down and tearful again.  Do you think I need to give it more time??  I am really scared that these tablets are not going to work and I'll never get better.  I feel stuck in limbo at the moment sad

I am in the same boat I seemed to feel a slight jump from 50mg to 100mg and then a little boost at beginning of 100 but been on that dose for about 4-5 months now and iv kind of hit a wall where yeah I'm better but need that next little step up but I'm not sure whether or not to go to 150 or not waiting to go in and see doc again

My experience was much the same, have you been on 100mg consistently for the whole 5.5 weeks or have you adjusted your dose because it sucks but it is true you have to give it a good 6-8 weeks on the consistent dose. It sounds like it is just your body adjusting. This does work, it just takes what seems like forever. Call your doctor if it doesn’t seem to get better. My therapeutic dose is 150mg. I have been on that for 7weeks and I am doing so much better.

    Good luck and be strong
