5 weeks on venlafaxine after switching

hi out there.

I have been on sertraline for about 5 years but it stopped working, I was put on mirtazapine but it caused awful odema. I've been on venlaxafine 75mg for about 5 weeks but during this time I've had terrible pain with an extracted tooth causing an infection and dry socket, absolute agony for weeks I've been on antibiotics, opiod painkillers along with the venlafaxine and became so ill and anxious ended up in A&E. I've been told the combination of Al l the meds is the cause of the crippling anxiety as levels cannot stabilise. my doc has just increased the dose to 112.5 mg now I am off all other meds with diazipan and the nausea etc is awful. Has anyone had any similar experience with mixing venlaxafine with other meds....Cheers!!!!

hI...the AB was erythromycin and the mirtizapine made my ankles swell like an elephant but also made me aggressive. I've been on venlafaxine for 6 weeks with the increase for 6 days now. morning's for me are hell as soon as I open my eyes but usually by the evening i feel ok...doc says to persevere???

yes, had a 10 day washout before I could start on the venlafaxine . That's why I'm wondering if all the "mucking" around, first with taking nothing then being ill as soon as I started the ven and taking all the other meds is why I still feel awful after 6 weeks including increase in dose 6 days ago?????

only 2 months while decreasing sertraline every week from 150mg, then it was just the mirtizapine, my ankles looked like elephants feet and I became aggressive so then the 10 day washout as doc said i was allergic..venlaxafine was then started at 75mg.
