Five weeks a go i had mesh hernia repair for an umbillical hernia navel button from a part surgery. Wondering how long people had some pain and discomfort around the area? Its just bruised looking not discharg though.

I had one done about 2.5 years ago.It was open surgery no mesh but i remember being uncomfortable and in pain for about 6 weeks.You really have to be careful that you don't over do things especially lifting anything too heavy and bending too much.It was a better recovery than what i was expecting.
