Well after waiting all day for phone call from the consultant, he rang and said will try and fit me in tomorrow to see me, and decide where to go from there. God I am so fed up. Never felt so low, my bladder feels like it will explode and kidneys aching loads. Wish I'd never had these things done now. Am feeling so uncomfortable.X

That's bad val well tomorrow I hope you are booked inn? If not gp ans sir down there. He needs to send you for a cat scan or scan on your tummy to look at your bladder and kidneys tp found out what's going out because your surgeon could of damage one of them when you had the op. That's why I got took in for the night. I do feel for you but you can always just Ho A&E if the pain is that bad. I'd the pain is 9 or 10 I would go to the hospital. Under 7 just wait till tomorrow. Please don't wait for your docter xx

Thanks I will, if it's just a really bad water infection then at least it can be sorted out with anti biotics and move on. I will keep my hot water bottle and heat pad on. Been drinking loads but no joy. Wish I was a bloke, easy life lol xx

Lol that made lol. I do wish sometimes. Man are so lucky. Well I've got antibiotics strong 500 grams just incase for after this one as gone. I Brought some water dips from eBay to check when I feel I have got one. That's how much I keep getting them. Chin up my lovely xx

Hi Sam, just lot back from the hospital, got there to see my consultant, was told he'd been rushed into theatre so saw a doc who knew nothing about me or what I'd had done. I sat and went through everything, about having the fibroids and the pressure on my bladder that I'd suffered with for years and that was why he did hysterectomy and also the posterior repair at the same time because he said I needed that doing too. She examined me, said it was healing nicely, I said my bladder problems are worse now than before and it's very uncomfortable inside the vagina now. To be told. . Well the hysterectomy hasn't solved the bladder problem and I'd have to get used to the uncomfortable feeling. So there you have it.talk about , off you go now, nothing we can do. Feel very let down. I'll just have to take it easy and deal with the water infections from now on. Bloody nhs, it's total rubbish. How are you feeling today? Are the tablets starting to work a bit. I hope so. Thinking of ya xx

Hey hun well my hysterectomy wasnt just for the heavy bleeding it was also to remove the fibroid pressing on my bladder and my urologist told me this is whats going to relieve my bladder problems ! We will just have to wait and see. Sometimes i do think they just tell u things just to fob u off. They forget their is a living person in there with a life to get on with pain free

Really? I hope that you have better outcome with yours then hon, let me know, she basically said today that because the womb etc is gone now, the empty space is now full with the bowel and bladder pushing together filling the gap. Which will give me more pressure than before. I think your right, they just fob you off to get rid of you xx

Well val Iam so sorry for you val. I would not be happy about that they need to send you to see someone about your bladder ans gave a cat scan like me to see if they have done anything to it. Please go back to the docters and ask for a scan. It's something your docter that did use op can not deal with that anyway. So phoned tomo ans tell him what you won't that's what I do..2nd day at work ans it's about killed me but i enjoyed being back at work ans gorge thing my pain. My back pain is back and my tummy as gone so big like Iam 5 months pregnant. I work at ernest jones selling jewellery. Tablets not doing much to be fair. Not sure why my tummy is so tender on my left lower side not sure why unless it's still heeling. Sending you hugs val don't give up.its your body you tell them what you won't. But I just feel 5 weeks is still early to feel a bit better. I was still in the sofa eating chocolate untill about 6 weeks or more lol tc xx

Oh bless you, maybe your doing too much at work? If your standing all day that won't help your back either. It must be nice To get back out and socialise again through work, it's having a laugh etc that makes you forget how your feeling inside for a while. Looks like hot water bottle for you at night again or some deep heat rub to help?

I'm ringing my doc tomorrow to ask for another sick note and will tell her what the hospital said. I'm just hoping things will settle down inside me in time. As you said it's early days yet. Hope work wasn't too bad today for you. Take care xx

Just having my hair done makes me feel better. My nails the other week. Just little bits makes you feel better. But to be fair it was not untill about 12 weeks I started to do this xx

Yeah your so right, I dyed my hair at home today and am going to get it cut tomorrow, feel like a hippy at the min. Look a right clip lol. Good job I'm not going out anywhere lol

Am phoning my doc tomorrow to ask for a longer sick note as not ready to go back now. Got a letter from work to say not getting paid sick pay coz don't work enough hours etc, cheeky gets, have worked there for 6 years. Anyway my husband said don't worry well be okay with his wage. I'll never do any more favours for them again now. Not going to stress over it. What's done is done. I'd leave if it wasn't for the fact I enjoy the job most of the time lol. Hope your not too worn out today. One step at a time honey xx

Well I do 15 hours ans got paid for 12 weeks just rest I just got sick pay the others 12 weeks was full pay. That's not good Iam sure you can get sick pay from them. It comes from the government. My hubby has bee brilliant. So it makes you feel better. I think you should look In to it. Going to have a hot bath soon pj's bliss I can not wait xx

They dropped all our contract hours from 15 to 12 and a half in September so not sure if it's because of that. I got paid the first 4 weeks, will see what happens at the end of this month. The letter said it's because of the hours, bet the new contract has summat to do with it.I work for the council and they've made that many cut backs that they've bound to of found a loop hole so as not to pay me. Grrr . Enjoy your bath and get your comfies on. That's what I'm doing soon too lol xx

Oh Sam, I hope . the acupuncture works again for you.It's nightmare isn't it. i have just rang the doctors and she has given me another 4 weeks on the sick and she said she would speak to me after that time to see if i'm ready to go back to work. Depending on how i feel i might ask for a further 2 weeks so it will be 3 months off work. I don't suppose work will be pleased when they get This sick note. But I do a lot of lifting with the job so don't want to undo all the work that's been done. I actually feel a little bit better today, it's the first day in ages. I hope you feel better soon sam. Hi Sam, how are you feeling today? I hope that your water infection is easing up for you and your back isn't aching so much. I got a call from work to say someone will be coming out on Monday to visit me. Will be to see if I'm still not well I suppose as they got my new 4 weeks sick note yesterday. That will be fun. . NOT lol. My mate came round last night with a bottle of wine and nibbles. First time I'd drank in ages. Felt a bit tiddly but slept all night, which was a big bonus. Maybe I should start drinking every night before bed lol. I've just started to feel better the last 2 days so hoping it's all on the up now at last. Still hate the feeling inside the vagina where the stitches were, feels like a stuck tampon trying to fall out all the time. Summat ill have to get used to I suppose. The wine stopped me thinking of it last night, that and a good laugh with my mate. Take care, hope your okay xx

That's bad val. My work should of come out to see me. But hr at head office said we don't need to because I've had a big op and didn't won't to see me. I would bloody tell them your not happy. Iam feeling sore still and my back not great but Iam riding on.

Iam off out on a girly day with my oldest daughter we are going to see a musical abs having a cocktail so Iam looking forward to that. That's so nice your bestie came round that's what I did in the early days it picked you up. I no you having been feeling alot better but still take it slowly tc xx

Ah that sounds fab, you'll have a brilliant time Sam, your daughter sounds great, taking you out will be good and spending time together , just the two of you will be fun. Enjoy and take it easy. Maybe put a heat pad on your back to ease it while your out? I've been buying them out the pound shop, two in a box. They help mine.

I've just told my hubby to stay in Monday when work comes over coz I'm staying in my Pjs and sitting on the couch when she turns up. No way am I going back before the 4 weeks end.xx

Morning val. We had a lovely day yesterday but I felt like I had been shopping all day. But it was worth it.

My back pain is not great today abs I've got tummy pains like it's the time of the month so Iam going docters again tomorrow.

Well val it's not like you have had a broken leg it was a big op. So they should understand. My hr at work said is in black ans white ans we don't need to sew this lady. Work just phoned me once a week to see how I was and just to keep in touch. But yes you will no when it's time to go back your body will tell you. Xx

Afternoon Sam, god I'm still laid in bed lol, my hubby has gone out up the club with his mates so thought no point getting out of bed lol. Think I should make a move now though. I'm glad you enjoyed yesterday, I just think the body hasn't had time to get back to normal and do all the things like you used to before the op. I've read on here that the swelly belly and pains can last for 6 months or more, god that long eh. Bet your like me, thinking that 6 weeks would of been recovering and getting back to normality, bit of a shock when it doesn't work out like that. If your still not feeling too good tomorrow you should call your doc to make sure your okay. Hope you do feel a bit better in the morning, just rest today, pain killers and water bottle and hopefully a bit better soon
