This is classed as a post meno bleed, and as such, should be investigated. Make that appointment and let us know how you get on. X

Hi, went to the docs Monday, she didn't examine me but has referred me for a scan, should get appt within a wk. Still bleeding, headache and totally drained. Called in sick yesterday due back in work tomorrow but really don't feel up to it. After 5 years this has me in such a panic

It does sound hormonal, my sister once she was post, did have a bleed, they did a scan, and couldnt find anything wrong, they put it down to the womb having a clean out once post, which apparently in some women this can happen, better to get it checked though, as bleeding so long after not having a period should be checked, my sister was 3 years post when she had this bleed. If i were you i would stay off again its friday relax if you can, work will only add to your stress, even if it does take your mind off it, you have the weekend with your family to occupy you instead. let us know how you get on nikola, good luck!!
