50 mg Zoloft for 13 years

i have been taking the brand name Zoloft of 50 mg for about 13 years now. it still feels effective... but sometimes I'll get a refill and doesn't feel as effective. so sometimes it feels like it works and other times with some scripts not as much. i dont want to go up in dosage and to keep my body from getting Zoloft resistant or building a tolerance, i wont take the medication on the weekend. what do you make of this? has anyone else experience this? or been on a consistent dose for as long as me and still feel the effects of the medication?

sometimes i think of moving to France and coming off the med for months while im there and maybe coming back to America and restarting to see if that makes a difference.

You Definitely can’t stop and start taking this drug it takes time to build up to the correct dose and tail off it gradually! youve also been taking it a long time like myself!50 mg is A very small dose but still you can’t stop and start it at will it would take time to be effective again! i doubt different brand names are any different in potence either! youll definitely get brain zaps if you stop after about three ir so days and is it worth withdrawing if you’re going to start take it again a little while later you really shouldn’t mess with this drug or any antidepressants ! just my opinion. 
