hi Claire i have been on the same dose for 11 weeks but still getting quite down and anxious thoughts. the thing i have noticed since i started setraline is being far more health aware and noticing every little pain and sensation. i have had moments of fear of heart attack, stroke, breast cancer, liver and kidney disease. And more! I was never like this before. Health anxiety seems a common side effect reading this forum. I hope this settles you a bit. X

Claire, how long did it take until you started to feel the benefits continually? And did you start on 50 or 25 and if latter how long before you increased to 50?

Re upping your dose, ask your DR, sounds like the old problem has resurfacced? best to get advice from him/her, or you could just try a gradual increase and see how it works.
