5yrs BV-? On Luvena
Posted , 5 users are following.
Hello. I’ve had BV off and on for 5 years. Odor is the only issue and frequent need to use the bathroom, #1.
My doctor recommended Luvena to restore pH since my lastest swab doesn’t show BV but the same fish odor is present. (Purchased OTC at CVS.)Has anyone tried it? vH essentials made the odor worse the next day, the worst it’s been. I bought RePresh and I may use it after trying Luvena.
Thanks for advice and tips!

Hey Liz. Luvena is a prebiotic gel/liquid you can get online or at Walmart/drug stores. My doctor recommended it for ph balance to eliminate BV issues. I’ve used it twice and don’t see any improvement. I bought REPresh gel and I think I’ll try it next. The odor is still there even, no change even with culture coming back negative for BV.
I do ultimate floral, represh pro b probiotics, and fem dolphlius oral daily. ACV wash or bath make me smell of vinegar and last for 2 hours and smells even worse after it wears off quickly.
I have not tried Boric acid Suppositories only because I’m terrified of the awful harm it may do. I changed diet. Lemon water for days on end and I just smell sour down there and it’s harash. Cotton underwear, no perfume detergent and softener, Un scented dove soap, I don’t wear panty Liners, no u dies at night.

Does it help with odor for you? How quick until results for you? Reviews state next day and I can’t agree to those.
Curious on rephresh now?

Yes it did, I would also use it to keep my BV under control. That is just something that worked for me. We are all different, some things may not for others, I've tried some other remedies as well that didn't work...but wishing you the best with this 😊

I did have my Vit D checked and it is not low. I had it checked in January because I’ve heard it could be a factor. Maybe as a precaution, I could take some. How long until you saw it seize? A month entirely?
Thanks for your advice.
So I tried RePresh last night. I checked my ph today and it’s higher this morning than it was last night when I inserted it. Last night 4.5 and today 5. (I use test strips off Amazon that are for 3.5 to 6 testing.)
