6 month old 0.6 white blood count

hello

q3 months ago my son came out in bruises on his legs with no explanation it was like a rash but didn't blanch, i took him straight to hospital and he was given blood tests which showed his white blood cell count was at 0.8.

we was discharged and arranged to go back 2 weeks later so we did and it had dropped to 0.7 so they then booked us again for more bloods which showed 0.6 and doctor said he was concerned as it kept dropping.

he said we need more blood tests in 2 weeks again but also got appointment to come from specialists at a children's hospital.

im just really worried I dont really understand anything at all , I know my son is at risk of getting more poorly if he catches anything , I just want an idea of what we are facing im so worried and any sort of reassurance would be great.
