this is my second episode in depression and anxiety
9 years ago i started 75mg ven and it worked perfectly for almost 9 years
i remember the only first year i were struggling to cope but after the first year i was doing great.
long story short, i stopped medication 6 moth ago though i wont need it anymore and it was disaster relapse end me in ER , i started the med again 75mg for months was having horrible time then increased the dose to 150 one month lated i felt my self again
and was so blessed i stayed on 150mg for 3 months and was doing really wonderful and because i didn't want to be on higher dose for rest of my life i decided to return back to 75mg first two months on 75mg felt nothing changed and was great as well
suddenly out of nowhere after these 2 months anxiety hit me back and i thought maybe because my body need to adjust the dose so i give it another month so am now on the third month on 75mg and am in real roll-coaster one day can cope and feel normal back
second two or three days bad with anxiety whole day and back to normal one or two days and so on
i really dont know what to do
am in big gambling days should i wait more or just move back to 150mg
since i had ben living on 75mg for 9 years i cant understand why 75mg not effective anymore
does any one know is this mood swings mean all i need is more time for the 75mg kick in?

Hi You poor thing, I know what you are going through. I am on 337.5mg Ven per day so there is plenty of scope to go higher on the dose but it sounds as if you need a stabiliser to stop your moods going up and down. It is worth asking your doctor or psychiatrist about. Hope this helps and gets you well again.

I would go back up to 150mg if that made you feel better, I know it takes a while to work but knowing you are going to feel better in a while will help. Hope you get well soon.
