6 months fluoxetine how I feel

I have had episodes of anxiety in varying degrees since I was 22 I am now 62 and have had many many good years however in 2011 I had another attack in the end took fluoxetine 20 mg for a year it took a long time to work but one day I just woke up and that dreadful feeling had gone - it got a hold if me again Jan 2017 and I started taking fluox again in late November my doctor would not let me have it before he said I was one of those people who phase in and out of snxiety practice cbt etc it's now may 2018 still not better how do we calm our bodies and minds down I feel my life is going down the drain I can't really enjoy my grandchildren and struggle every day with brain dips feelings of unease and terrible headaches that hang around for ever I still go to work drive and so forth and try to keep life as normal as possible but it's so hard when I just can't stop thinking about how I feel it is some days more manageable but others so bad especially in the morning I am still on the fluoxetine sometimes it feels like I am getting better then it all comes back anyone relate to this

    how are you feeling now after 12 months? Are you still on fluox?
