I am better and there is a big difference now than before but i can say that i still can't feel my normal excitment and happiness towards things that used to make me happy before .

i can cope and do everything like before but   still something broken in my mind just not completly my old self .

I have 4 kids and i also take care of my mom that has alzahimer .

just i need an advice on this , does this med will still work more or i had its total effect ?

I really want to have me back  . i never been on any AD before .

Thanks everyone in advance .

      Yes it's so hard .

I also still have this fear feeling like what you feel when you are about to fall or someone scared you this kind of feeling happens when I have thoughts or recall the anixity that happens to me and insomnia . I just can't explain what I feel . This was continuously all day until I started the med and now it happens but not as much but still it annoys me . Just want to be me again without all this .

Sertraline helps with depression and anxiety. I also believe it numbs you a little so you don't feel as much. Less excitement, happiness etc but also less lows, crying, depression etc.

This has been my experience and I believe it is a typical one.

I have had to make a choice and have chosen to feel better.

Hope this helps. I am sure you will get other replies agreeing with me, if not then at least you will have the whole picture and range of experiences.

    Take care
