6 months post hemorrhoid stapling

It's been six months since my hemorrhoid stapling (a long painful road) and I still have an urgency to use the restroom everyday...several times a day. I also have extreme tenderness/pain afterward. Is this something that will take time to go away or do I need to see my Dr.?
I'm hoping that it's not something I will have to live with for the rest of my life.

So sorry for your experience, I am also really disappointed with my surgery, I had an hemaridectamy on grade 4 piles and stapling of 3 internal ones, this was 6 weeks ago and was so painful I went back to the hospital for a check up has I was in so much pain, i was told that the internal ones have come back and I was asked if I want surgery again I could cry 😣

I must admit having more procedures is one of my fears. ...so I keep putting off seeing the Doctor. I'm hoping someone has had this issue and will tell me that it finally gets better at 7 months. It's getting so old!
I'm afraid to travel!
I feel for you, as well...wish you could wake up and have it all better. Please keep us posted.

Did you ever return to the Doctor when you were hurting to see what they thought?

I had a regular hemorroidectomy so I can't speak to the stapling procedure which is different. But I can say that things are taking longer than I thought they would. I am at 4 weeks and a few days and today it feels sore and there's a feeling of urgency somewhat but I have only had three bms within a period of 20 mins earlier today. Nothing since. It seems to be a case of one step forward, two back, two forward, one forward, three back...you get the idea.
