Hi all

I had a haemorrhoidectomy 6 months ago  (2 big internals and an ext skin tag courtesy of my two pregnancies)

Had one of the wounds not heal properly so had that scraped in dec to encourage further healing

I’m still getting bleeding daily.

I’m so so so sick of this honestly

Has anyone had such trouble post haemorrhoidectomy ???

I’m off to see the surgeon soon as He said to let him know if I’m still bleeding 3months after the wound curette

I don’t know what he will do next.

Reading these forums I don’t know anyone that’s had this much trouble months on.

Feeling disheartened

It’s a terrible area to have issues in

Just want my life back and for the bleeding to stop sad

Hi, I had my surgery in August of last year. To say the least, my life has been ruined and then some! I am currently suffering with extreme pain daily. I used to be able to stand up and endure the pain before surgery, but now I must immediately sit down or sit in a hot bath. Since I've been literally at wits end, my boyfriend purchased Emuaid Max ointment for me to try. Since starting it on Tuesday, its increased my bleeding dramatically and increased my overall pain and symptoms. Most people found it helped them so I'm more confused than ever as to what is going on with me. I've been told I may need to have another surgery but the whole ordeal is almost too much to bear. I feel the same as just wanting my old life back. I've spent hours scouring the internet, trying several remedies and suggestions. Nothing has helped.

Hi, please check out online the use of essential oils for Haemorrhoids, lots of info which one's and how to use them, anything is worth a try, ive used them and seem to work well, they are powerful things essential oils, ive done quit a bit of reading on them, and convinced on their benefits, it could be worth a try.

Thank you. At this point I'm so desperate to try anything. I looked into the oils but after trying this Emuaid cream, I'm fearful to try much else. The Emuaid has tee tree oils and other homeopathic ingredients. Not too sure what didn't allow it to work for me but Im willing to try these oils anyways as my next hope.

Apparently the Dr says I had 2 external hemmorhoids and one internal. She removed one of the externals and left the rest due to fear of bleeding. I would need to have another surgery, exactly like my 1st, to go and remove the others. My main fear is that surgery has left me more disabled than I ever was. I believe I had a severe allergic reaction to the Emuaid cream because it made me bleed almost non-stop for the 3 days. On average, I bleed about 2-4x a week with no relief from anything. My BM are not strained, and I'm trying to understand why they never settle down. I drink a lot of water and maintain a high fiber diet so I can't believe this is happening. It's a constant battle of them being inflamed, and then I bleed out which causes even more extreme pain. I had a colonoscopy that revealed I don't have a fissure but it feels like I'm sitting on an open wound from glass cuts when I do bleed.

Try changing the position you go to the loo in with a squatty potty or go better toilet stool. It really does make a massive difference not pouring so much pressure on your anus when going to the loo. Good luck. X
