6 week out of surgery questions for you guys

Hello, I had bankart repair, arthoscopic rotator cuff repair, and SLAP repair on my right shoulder. 6 weeks out my shoulder is popping when I move it, like it got caught on something, making a crunching noise, hand keeps going numb and it's painful. The surgeon thinks nothing of it. Anyone else experience similar discomfort 6 weeks out?

    Hello there;

    I also had right rotator cuff and bicep surgery; SLAP on Aug. 18th of last year. I had pain off and on for awhile. I started therapy about a week or so after my surgery, and things were going ok; at times, until the end of October I started having some neck pain on the same side. It continued to get stronger as the time went on, and I did mention it to my therapist and had me doing neck stretches, and I also mentioned it to my surgeon. Of course the pain continued, so the doctor told me it could be from my shoulder, and he ordered a MRI, and refered me to a neurologist and spine doctor. I took a xray, because the MRI was denied. The xray showed a little arthritis, and told me he also thought it could be coming from my shoulder, so he ordered a MRI of my shoulder and cervical. The one for the shoulder was submitted to WC and the one for my neck was submitted to my insurance; which was denied again!! I took the MRI of my shoulder last Thursday, but still going back and forth with insurance and the spine doctor's office. I'm still in pain everday, and no one is really doing anything!! Nothing has helped with pain, and I also started having shoulder and bicep pain again too!! I hardly sleep! I've been so stressed out, and very frustrated! I was assaulted at work by a few students due to breaking up fights & restraining them; so that no other kids would get hurt!! I still can't go back to work with all this pain, and not knowing what's going on! I just pray that you get some relief real soon, and if not, stay on your doctor!! We know our bodies, especially when something isn't right!!! Ask for some tests or try to find out what's going on! Have you started therapy yet? Try using a cold gel pack; it might help. Please keep us informed. Keeping you in prayer too!
