Gosh its been 6 weeks since TRH and wow i cant believe how far ive come!

Seen the surgeon today and dont see for another 8 weeks and ive ditched my sticks!

Its been a rollercoaster of a recovery and have a long way to go however, i truly never thought id see this day. Has made a huge difference and i even find myself laughing which was very rare in pain days. I will continue to build my strength up slowly and continue to respect my new hip. Thank you to all pre hip and just after who offered valuable advice. 😃

very pleased so far and to be pain free is a whole new life! I did all the physio and took rest and meds when needed. Around week 4 i upped my walking but paid the price as in alot of pain. There were many issues that have all passed, leg and feet swelling, night sweats, restless legs and unable to

sleep on my back. There is a man on here who I cant recall and he wrote a whole point by point experience and I wish i had read rather than thinking this was the worst decision ever.

good luck and everyones recovery time is different and i did alot of pilates before to strengthen the muscles.
