6 weeks in 10 MG Help!

Hi all,

i have been on citalopram for just over 6 weeks now first 2 weeks was horrible with side effects how ever they did calm down and i was feeling better. however for last 4/5 days especially last two days i have felt awful with headaches, whole of my body twitching from head near temples to my legs is this normal? I have got a doctor appointment tomorrow so will discuss with the doctor

    how are you doing? did your Dr offer any supporting advice?

      Hi Lorraine,

      The doctor said its all relates to the citalopram and has upped me to 20MG little bit better today then i have been over the last two days but still feeling low and dull headaches

      hello im glad youre feeling better than previous days 😃

      i have a headache most days on the citalopram, i drink lots of water during the day which helps a bit, im getting there i think, im on week 7, lots of ups and downs and strange sensations, thinking of increasing to 20mg but so scared of start up side affects again

      thank you 😃 yes thats like me the headache has never gone away really, this forum is great with advice and kept me on it as first three weeks where awful with side effects but they have calmed down but starting the 20mg today i am expecting them to come back so we will see just hope i am back to my self soon as not been well for the last 2/3 months. what side effects did you have? i had burning skin on arms, nausea, insomnia and generally feeling down and unwell was in the bed for 2 weeks really . lets hope we are feeling better soon.
