6 weeks post double TKR. All’s well except for loud painful popping in joint while sleeping!

This loud popping in my knee joint is enough to wake me (painfully) from a dead sleep at night. No swelling results. My range of motion is 130 and 125. Extended is 4° and 3°. I recumbent bike 30 minutes, stretch for 15 minutes then ice for 30 minutes 3 times a day. My daily walking amounts to 2 miles (+-) each day. Only discomfort in this dislocating pop feeling at night. Anyone else have this?

Well I am post LTKR 3 months. I was bragging lately how great I was doing then BAMM..,,,,, I am laying here icing it with door slamming melt
Downs- 4 nights of no sleep- up all night. I walked my 3 mile walk today and everyday this week. I use a sauna Cyrotherapy everyday. Thought I was smart and had beat the TKR dragon- and I will but- patience is required. I keep forgetting that. Your progress is way way way ahead of schedule. You may need to SLOW down. I don’t think you will- I will not but there is the problem. The truth creeps in at night. This is an amazing surgery but it is also a very difficult one. Gotta push thru - show yourself you can work Hard and strong- great!!!!! But- reality is that at night/ let your guard relax and sweet buddy PAIN tries to push in. At 3 months it will be better. Again- your results are fantastic!!!!!!!’ I am 0-125 range and fight everyday for that. It was the pride and bragging that has humbled me but.....,. I am not giving up- sleep or no sleep 💤- pain or not. I am truly not sure I could have done the double. Lucky- my right knee is ok. Hang in there- many many smart people in this forum have amazing knowledge. Not me- I just want to show the support others showed me in dark days.
Wonderful people but Chico Marx and the Ole fat guy/ his words/ could write volumes if you navigate this site and look back at previous posts. You will beat the pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also- my doctor says the popping is normal- part of your knee life- it will get less but- part of it. Never goes totally away- says the surgeon 👨??? 😀
