i have broken 3 bones following open fracture dislocation. the fibula fragmented. plates and pins were used. i had a check up 9 days post op and consultant was happy. then 7.5 weeks until next check up. ive done this before and i was nonweight bearing 16 weeks but the break was worse. has anyone done similar and how long was your recovery time and how long nwb?
