inwas just wondering if there is anyone out there who has had the op at Spire Hospital in Cardiff?
if so it would be nice to have a chat as I am booked in for middle of Feb

I too am getting a band fitted soon....A week tomorrow. But not at Spire, I'm getting mine at Nuffield.
I'm very nervous but excited too. I have struggled with my weight the first half of my life and don't want to spend the second half feelING this miserable!!
How are you feeling about the op? I've never been for any type of operation before at all so very nervous about it.

I thought I was the only Welsh person on here!
my op is booked for 13 th Feb 3 weeks today and I am getting really nervous now but I know it's the right thing for me.
i have spent all my life on a diet and at 54 I think it's fair to say they haven't worked!!!
( Truthfully I have no willpower)
i now have a beautiful grandson who is nearly 3 and I making sure I am around to see him grow up because if I carry on the way I am going I will end up having a heart attack or worse.

Its good to know there is someone not far away from me going through the same thing although I have made a couple of really good friends on here who have recently been throug the op and are a great help with any questions I have.
I have about 5 or 6 stone that I want to lose how about you?
