60 hours and plenty of water enough?

I finished my 500 mg of metronidazole this morning at 9 am. I was planning on going out drinking to celebrate a friend's birthday 60 hours after my last pill. I am currently drinking plenty of water to the point where I am urinating every 30 minutes. If i continue to drink plenty of water up to the night of drinking and wait 60 hours, will I still get sick? I understand that you MUST wait 72 hours after the last pill was taken to drink but was curious if 60 plus detoxing with water will be enough. I am very active and weight lift for at least an hour 6 times a week burning 400-700 active calories per workout. I am 5'5 and weigh 134 pounds. If there is another way to detox please let me know. Thank you.
